Grace Children

Grace Children exists to glorify God. We understand that this is connected to the churches’ mandate to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). Because of this, our Children’s Ministry is focused on two fundamental disciplines: evangelism and encouragement.

First, we glorify God through evangelism. We understand that a child’s greatest need is regeneration because he/she is dead in his sin and without hope of being delivered from the consequence of his sin (Ephesians 2:1; Romans 3:23; 6:23). We also understand that those who are regenerated believe in Christ alone to save them from their sin.

Second, we glorify God through encouragement. Because we believe parents are the primary disciple-makers of their children, we strongly encourage parents to be involved in the spiritual lives of their children (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Ephesians 6:4). In addition, because we at Grace recognize that we live in a culture that consistently divides the family, we seek to implement ministries that unite the family rather than separate it.

In order to encourage our parents in the raising of their children, we provide journals for them to use during our worship service.
