Grace Men exist to glorify God. We understand that this is connected to the churches’ mandate to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). Because of this, our Men’s Ministry is founded upon two core principles: evangelism & encouragement.
First, we glorify God through evangelism. We understand that man’s greatest need is regeneration because he is dead in his sin and without hope of being delivered from the consequence of his sin (Ephesians 2:1; Romans 3:23; 6:23). We also understand that those who are regenerated believe in Christ alone to save them from their sin.
Second, we glorify God through encouragement. We understand that a man who believes Jesus Christ, as presented in the Scriptures (both Lord and Savior), will desire to be a man who follows Christ. As such, he will desire to be with men of like mind (Ephesians 2:4-5, 19-22). Men who will encourage one another to be “on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong” and let “all that you do be done in love.”
